Bus lane PCNs issued per yearGross PCN income per year
Slough issued more bus lane PCNs in 2025/26 (31,928) than in any of the four years before it, and took £737,640 — its highest income of the period — after a dip to £553,653 in 2023/24. Two new sites drive most of the increase: the Poyle Road bus gate and the London Road bus lanes at Laburnum Grove, both of which started enforcing in early 2025 and together issued 2,194 PCNs in 2025/26. Bath Road remains the busiest road on the network by a wide margin, at 14,765 PCNs across its nine cameras.

Slough gave a camera-by-camera breakdown — 21 cameras issuing PCNs in 2025/26 — and the rows here group those cameras onto the road each one enforces, so that every row matches a lane page on this site. Bath Road carries nine of the 21, and London Road at Langley four; the rest are one or two each. Two further Bath Road cameras stopped issuing in October 2022 and their PCNs are included in the Bath Road totals. The council's own camera register labels the pair at Laburnum Grove as "Colnbrook" in its PCN sheets and as "Bath Road" in its income sheets; both describe the same two cameras on the A4 London Road, which the Borough of Slough (London Road) Bus Lane Order 2024 covers.

The fine itself
A bus lane PCN from Slough Borough Council is £70, reduced to £35 if paid within 21 days. It is a civil penalty — there are no licence points. £70, halved to £35, is the charge in the penalty table of Slough's own Parking Enforcement Policy (August 2025), which lists "Being in a Bus Lane" at £70/£35 with a £105 higher charge. The FOI response did not restate it. The 21-day discount period is the one the Bus Lane Contraventions (England and Wales) Regulations 2005 give for a penalty charge notice served by post, which is how every camera PCN in this dataset is served.
What the council does not hold or publish
Discounted payments. No count of PCNs paid at the £35 discounted rate was given — the response answered on income, camera by camera and month by month, rather than on how many drivers paid early.
