A very short bus gate — 15 metres of St Paul’s Street running north-westbound from the Hatherton Road junction, by the bus station — closed to general traffic at all times. Buses, coaches, pedal cycles and hackney carriages may use it.
Motorcycles may not, unlike in several of Walsall’s ordinary bus lanes, and private hire vehicles may not use any bus lane or gate in the borough. The penalty is £70, reduced to £35 if paid within 21 days.
