The westbound High Street bus lane in Bloxwich runs at peak times only: Monday to Friday, 8am to 9.30am and 4pm to 6.30pm. Outside those windows, and at weekends, any vehicle may use it.

During the restricted hours buses, hackney carriages, pedal cycles, motorcycles and emergency vehicles are permitted, but private hire vehicles are not. The camera has been in place since July 2014.

Hours and permitted vehicles come from Walsall Council's response to freedom of information request RFI-16212-26, 31 July 2026, which set out the position for each traffic order section by vehicle class. Private hire vehicles are not permitted in any of the sites the council detailed.
