The inbound gate from the St Paul's Place service road operates 24 hours a day, every day. A camera has enforced it since 3 April 2023.
The council's map dataset records a second Arundel Gate restriction, a northbound bus lane over most of the street, with no camera against it. Buses, taxis, pedal cycles and authorised vehicles may pass through.
Solo motorcycles may not — Sheffield permits them in bus lanes only, never in bus gates. A private hire vehicle counts as an authorised vehicle only if it carries council-approved side markings; an unmarked or out-of-area one does not.
