About this bus lane
Bawtry Road carries four separate restrictions. A bus gate occupies the gap in the central reservation 240 metres west of Gliwice Way.
Three bus lane stretches also run along it: north-west bound from 45 metres north-west of Stoops Lane to 152 metres north-west of Saxton Avenue, eastbound for 241 metres from Leger Way, and westbound along Bawtry Road/Bennetthorpe from 110 metres east of Carr House Road back to Carr House Road.
The Order sets no time-of-day limit, so the restriction applies at any time. Motorcycles are exempt in the bus lanes but not in the central-reservation bus gate, so they are shown as not permitted here — check the signs for the section you are on.
City of Doncaster Council’s published list of ANPR sites does not include this location, so there is no fixed enforcement camera here — but the restriction is still in force and can be enforced by other means.
