The strictest of the city’s bus lanes: buses only. The council’s order names no other permitted class here, so unlike most Stoke bus lanes this one does not admit pedal cycles or taxis — cyclists should use the nearside lane.
It covers 56 metres of the offside lane running south-west, starting 27 metres beyond the Church Lane junction. Camera enforcement started in August 2025 and had produced 774 penalties by March 2026, per Stoke-on-Trent City Council FOI SOT-147931 (response 18 August 2026).
