Scheme launched 5 February 2024; the six-month warning notice period for first occasions ended 5 August 2024, so PCNs are now issued on the first and every occasion. Entry from the west is restricted to buses only; from the east it is buses, licensed taxis and permit holders, plus loading in the stated windows.
By some distance the council’s busiest camera site — 11,853 PCNs in 2025/26. The all-times restriction and the two loading windows were re-confirmed by Peterborough City Council FOI-202607009566 (response 14 August 2026).
