This is a short bus gate at the Four Lane Ends interchange, created by the 2025 consolidation order and not present in the superseded 2022 order. At 14 metres it is the shortest restriction in the borough.
The restriction applies at all times — the order gives the prohibited period as "All Days / All Hours". The council's FOI-8551 enforcement list gives 2026 as the year camera enforcement commenced.
Private hire vehicles may use it: the 2025 order defines an "authorised vehicle" as a private hire vehicle, or any vehicle the council has authorised to be in the bus lane.
