About this bus lane
This restriction is in force 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — there is no time of day when general traffic may use it. It is one of three Mansfield sites the county council switched to camera enforcement in November 2023.
Hours and permitted vehicles come from Nottinghamshire County Council's response to freedom of information request FOI/00008314, 31 July 2026, which listed every camera-enforced site in the county. The council names buses as the permitted class at all of them; it did not say whether pedal cycles may also use them, and most bus lanes do admit cycles, so the roadside sign is definitive on that point.
The council's list covers bus lanes and bus gates together without saying which each site is. Its own bus lane page publishes the £70 penalty (£35 if paid within 21 days) but no locations or hours.
