Camera-enforced since 1 November 2011, making it one of Medway's two oldest bus lane cameras, and it runs around the clock — there is no off-peak window. Globe Lane serves Chatham Waterfront bus station.
Buses, taxis and cycles may use it. The council issued 999 penalty charge notices here in 2025/26, down from a peak of 1,536 in 2023/24.
